Hardwoord Flooring

We have a variety of pre finished hardwoods, from standard oak to exotics, solid to engineered. Solid wood is milled from a single 3/4″ thick piece of hardwood. Solid wood flooring expands and contracts with changes in your home’s relative humidity. Normally, installers compensate for this movement by leaving an expansion gap between the floor and the wall. Base molding or quarter round is traditionally used to hide the extra space. Engineered wood is produced with three to five layers of hardwood. Each layer is stacked in a cross-grain configuration and bonded together under heat and pressure. As a result, engineered wood flooring is less likely to be affected by changes in humidity and can be installed at all levels of the home.

Some of our featured showroom brands are Armstrong, Shaw, Mullican, Bella Cera, and more! These brands collections offer a wide variety of wood grain patterns, natural color variation, and the beauty of a natural material. Hardwood floors can add value to your home because of their classic beauty, durability, and refinishing properties. They are also ideal for allergy sufferers because they do not promote dust or harbor dust mites.

Sheet Vinyl, Vinyl Planking & Vinyl Tile Flooring

Brinker’s Flooring Design Center offers many styles in vinyl flooring. Resilient flooring – also known as ‘vinyl’ or ‘sheet vinyl’ – has been around for decades and is still one of the most popular and budget friendly types of flooring around. It’s made using a printing process known as ‘rotogravure’, which prints a pattern on the flooring substrate via an engraved cylinder. If you desire a “tile look” Alterna Vinyl Tile with a Limestone core is a an innovative alternative to natural stone and ceramic tile. Like stone and ceramic, it’s incredibly beautiful and durable, yet warmer under foot. If you desire a “wood look” Vinyl planking offers a durable alternative to a solid hardwood.

These Vinyls are waterproof which lets you install in high moisture areas, including bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms. While a durable top layer with enhanced coatings helps resist scratches and wear to keep your floor looking luxurious without having to be refinished over time. There are plenty of style options to cater to any design.

Laminate Flooring

Laminate features traditional to exotic looks, and gives you endless design possibilities. The base of a laminate floor is a watertight, glued HDF board (High Density Fiber Board). This is covered with a design layer and a transparent overlay against wear and tear. The design layer is a photo of wood or tiles that is printed on paper. This paper is submerged in melamine resin. This is then covered with a very strong and transparent protective layer. The melamine layers are pressed on the HDF board in a press under high pressure and temperature. In addition, a wood or tile structure is also pressed into the top layer. For example, the oak designs have a wood texture that coincide exactly with the wood pattern. The highly refined printing technique means that you can hardly tell the difference between the photo and real wood. So you can have a “wooden floor” in your home without sacrificing valuable trees. In addition, you don’t have to worry about the disadvantages of a wooden floor. Another bonus: there’s a laminate floor for every budget!
